Microsoft is offering a Microsoft 365 Office subscription discount for Amazon Prime Day from July 11 to July 12, 2023. If you’re a Prime subscriber (which costs $14.99 / £7.99 / AU$6.99 a month but can be canceled after 30 days), you can save money on an Office suite subscription.
If you’re in the UK, you can also get a discount on Office 2021, which is a perpetual license so you don’t have to pay again after a year.
In the US, Prime subscribers can get a 12-month Microsoft 365 Personal (Office) subscription plus a $10 Amazon gift card for just $49.99, typically $79.99. That’s a $30 savings. Microsoft 365 Personal includes Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. You also get 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage.
US Prime subscribers can also get Microsoft 365 Family (Office) and a $20 Amazon gift card. It’s a 12-month subscription and three more months for free. If you do not cancel your subscription, it will automatically renew at a higher price. The family version does not include Outlook, but six people can use it.
If you’re in the UK, the Amazon Prime Day offer can save you 30% off the price of a copy of Microsoft Office 2021 Home & Student (Mac or Windows version). You can get Office for Mac for £83.99 instead of the usual £119.99 MSRP.
This is a one-time purchase, which means you won’t be tied to a subscription that will renew at full price after one year.
UK Prime subscribers can also save on Microsoft 365 Family Office 365 apps including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook for 6 users. The 12-month deal is £47.99, 40% off the regular price of £79.99 per year.
