YouTube TV Gets an NFL Sunday Ticket

This morning, YouTube announced a new multi-year deal with the NFL, confirming that it will indeed bring Sunday ticket both YouTube TV as an add-on package and a stand-alone a la carte offer on YouTube Primetime channels.

It’s hard for football fans to beat an NFL Sunday ticket. It allows subscribers to view all Sunday regular season games outside the market, which is great for those who either want to watch all the games that aren’t streaming locally or are fans of a team that isn’t in their area.

The only one Badly The peculiarity of the Sunday ticket is its price. This deal reportedly cost YouTube about $2 billion, so I’m expecting about the same price for the package as it is now when the new season kicks off. The current starting price is $300, but we’ll see what happens when the price becomes official.

Personally, I’ll be using my RedZone with YouTube TV, but this added option is definitely a nice touch.
