  1. Connecting everything to the internet is a sure fire way for bad actors to gain access to your entire life

  2. I mean. Nothing beats being able to turn of the lights, turn in the ceiling fan in the bedroom, and kicked down the a/c from my phone

  7. This is a metaphor for all of our day and age. All of our tech was supposed to make our lives easier. Instead life in modern times is far far more complicated.

  8. Rn it’s just tech solutions in search of problems, being marketed as “smart” products

  9. It replaces the satisfaction of creating a pleasant environment with a dopamine hit of commanding something to obey your command. 🌊🏄‍♂️

  10. It’s like a subscription TV service, once you get more than a couple of them it becomes analysis paralysis.
