People grieve outside the Ssgt Willie de Leon Civic Center, where students had been transported from Robb Elementary School after a gunman opened fire and killed 14 students and one teacher, in Uvalde, Texas, May 24, 2022.

The shooting is one of the deadliest at a U.S. school since a gunman killed 26 people, including 20 children from five- to 10-years old, in a rampage at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut in December 2012. 🔗 Read the latest on the deadly shooting at our link in bio. 📷 @mabellog

  1. How many times are we going to post the crying emoji and then forget about it. How many times are we going to sit up and listen for one moment and think we need to change these gun laws and then forget about it. How many times will be scream no more guns and forget about it the next day. It’s just not good enough. This is not good enough. It’s time the US revised its gun laws. It’s time the US delivered some order. It’s time the US did something about this.

  2. Special interest runs our government … and everytime the people get hurt 💔💔💔💔💔💔

  3. Wake TF up people! How much longer do guns/gun owners get more political protection and rights than innocent schoolchildren (and other innocent victims)? Time for this madness to end is now. 400+ million guns in the US are far too many and our society is deeply malignant and sick.

  4. Senator Ted Cruz says this is terrible, but haven’t heard that he’s cancelling his talk to the National Rifle Association on Friday or planning to discuss reasonable legislation to reduce the awful number of similar shootings in America.

  5. This bullshit must stop! Law makers didn’t do ANYTHING for all the innocent children who suffered at Sandy Hook. QUIT saying “our hearts and prayers are with you”. This doesn’t stop the inflicted terror, bring back the dead or console the living. Lip service and over-inflated egos will not solve this National crisis.

  6. Sooo effin tired of $ in government that creates a barrier to eliminating guns in our country for good. Apparently, hundreds of thousands of millions of children and people must die before they will do something meaningful. 😢😞

  7. .. how can these parents remove this pain , they will say that your child died for nothing . why weren’t there a security guard at the school, maybe many of them had children, it was very difficult, i am very sorry .. 😢As a Turkish citizen, I was shattered because I am a mother too.

  8. Not really shocked or surprised at any of this anymore, shit, sandy hook happened when I was in high school and about how many have gone down since then? Enough to forget about. Which means a fuckin lot

  9. How many more Sandy Hooks and Columbine do we have to endure? If lawmakers worried so much about keeping our kids safe as much as they do formula things might change

  10. NRA convention in Dallas this weekend…feels like maybe a group of well meaning people could peacefully put a stop to that. 🧐

  11. What a sadness😢, 14 kids went to school today, and are never coming home. Is this the ‘Freedom’ Americans want?
