Google right now fast couple The feature can be used to set up devices such as headphones and Wear OS devices. Judging by the newly discovered code, Fast Pair will soon support Android smartphone customization, with the upcoming Galaxy S23 lineup being the first devices to get it.

Fast Pair is a very handy feature that automatically detects when an unconfigured device is near you. For example, when you first download the Pixel Watch, your Android phone will quickly prompt you to download the companion Pixel Watch app and set it up. In the case of the Galaxy S23, it should be something very similar, with a prompt to download Samsung’s Smart Switch app.

The new Galaxy S23 line will be unveiled on February 1 in San Francisco at the Galaxy Unpacked show. It should be a pretty good time considering this is Samsung’s first in-person reveal since 2020. Good times ahead.
