No Galaxy S24+ Option in 2024?

As detailed in a report from South Korea this week, Galaxy S22+ sales in 2022 weren’t too strong. and S22 Ultra), its sales amounted to only 17% of all shipped devices. The smaller S22 accounted for 38% and the Ultra for the remaining 45%.

So what will Samsung do? According to this report, Samsung may drop the Plus model entirely in 2024, offering only the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Nothing changes for 2023, at least from what we know. Samsung is expected to announce three models of the Galaxy S23 line on February 1st.

This possible plan makes sense, but at the same time it leaves too much space between what the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Ultra offer. In my opinion, I’m comparing the S22 to the S22 Ultra, which is technically unfair – the S24 line can be very different. Samsung may update the Galaxy S24 a bit to be more in line with the S24 Ultra, only in a smaller body. This is what I have wanted for a long time. Apple is doing the same with the iPhone and it seems to work very well for them.

In 2022, the Galaxy S22+ was one of my favorite phones. It looked like the Galaxy S22 and felt in the hand, but had a large battery that lasted longer than 8 hours. It was a great phone. Could this be the end of the Plus option?
