Paul Rudd discusses one of his most bizarre scenes in Marvel movies.

In a recent interview, Paul Rudd discussed some of his weirdest Marvel movie moments and some hilariously awkward situations he’s experienced in real life with fans.

Rudd is known for his roles in many comedy TV shows and movies. He started his Marvel career with the first The ant Man film in 2015. Since then, he has played the main protagonist in the The ant Man series and other Marvel movies, including Captain America: Civil War And Avengers: Endgame, where he helped other Avengers defeat Marvel antagonist Thanos. When asked about his weirdest Marvel moment, Rudd’s roles in these movies left him with plenty of options.

“There’s a moment in this new movie where someone can read my mind, and he says I have something like seven holes in my body,” Rudd said in a interview with BBC Radio 1 about his weirdest Marvel moment. He continued:

“I don’t know why, and while filming this, I thought, ‘I think he [Scott Lang] would probably stop and count to see if he understood correctly. So there was a take where I was like “can I love, let me just try to do the math in my head before I say the line”, and I hope people understand what I do, because I think that’s what everyone would do.”

Rudd was talking about a scene in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, his most recent Marvel film, where Scott Lang (Ant-Man) meets some of the Freedom Fighters, who are inhabitants of the Quantum Realm, and a red creature called Veb, asks Lang how many holes he has, to which another Freedom Fighter who can read minds, Quaz, confirms that Lang has seven holes. The hole joke continues throughout the film, mostly through Veb, who is obsessed with human anatomy.

Lots of characters from the first two The ant Man the films did not appear in Ant Man 3, and that’s because it takes place mostly in the Quantum Realm. However, not all of the characters that fans saw in the new film were actually there.

Rudd’s weirdest behind-the-scenes creature, Veb, is voiced by David Dastmalchian, who also plays Kurt in the first two films, a member of Scott Lang’s squad of thieves. However, the other members of his crew did not appear in the final film. For example, Michael Peña, who plays Luis, is Scott Lang’s best friend and former cellmate. And although Luis played a big role in making the comedy The ant Man and afterward, there was no place for him in Quantumania, likely due to its setting in the Quantum Realm and its introduction to new characters like Kang the Conqueror as a new enemy. Another character that did not appear in the new The ant Man Starring in the film is rapper TI, who starred as Dave in the first two films, as the actor faced sex and drug abuse allegations.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has been in theaters since February 17 and will arrive on Disney+ on July 8.
