James Gunn’s Superman: Legacy is deep into the cast like Nicolas HoultTom Britney and Emma Mackey would have undergone screening tests.

He wrote: “Meanwhile, currently on the Warners lot, James Gunn is testing Nicholas Hoult, David Corenswet and Tom Brittney + Emma Mackey, Phoebe Dynevor and Rachel Brosnahan, in full wardrobe and makeup, for the roles of Clark Kent and Lois Lane for SUPERMAN LEGACY.”

“No one has been cast as Superman yet,” he tweeted. “Casting, as is almost always the case with me, will take place after the script is complete or nearly complete, and it’s not.

“We’ll be announcing a few things shortly, but Superman’s casting won’t be part of it.”
