After a short delay, Google has released OTA packages for the Pixel 6 lineup and factory images for the March security update and Feature Drop. We don’t see Google specifically mentioning anywhere what caused the delay, but here we are.

The rest of the Pixel lines received the same update on March 13th. Inside you’ll find a security fix (what’s new here) as well as the latest features thanks to the Feature Drop (what’s new here). Below you’ll see the updated build numbers for the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, and Pixel 6a.

  • Pixel 6: TQ2A.230305.008.E1
  • Pixel 6 Pro: TQ2A.230305.008.E1
  • Pixel 6a: TQ2A.230305.008.E1

Google should start distributing these updates over the air soon (Settings > System > System Update), but if you don’t want to wait for Google and prefer to update manually, you’ll find every factory image or OTA file in the links. below. Instructions for flashing the factory image can be found here. Instructions for flashing the OTA ZIP file can be found here.
