Harry & Meganrecognizes Vaihayasi Pande Daniel is just a continuation of Diana’s story.

After watching the first three episodes of Harry & Megan With some interest, Episode 4 left me a little behind when it started Thanda.

A little boring, a little sluggish, too much about how wonderful and extraordinary Meghan was/is, and the not-so-super-exciting super-solidity of Meghan-Harry jodi.

Yawning.

When things take a downturn in Meghan’s life, a somber, tense soundtrack plays and there’s a cut to somber moments for Princess Diana and then back to Meghan in black, and the commentators who follow everyone also cheesily wear the somber shade.

Episode 5 and 6 had you on the edge of your seat again as it dealt with the dramatic circumstances leading up to Harry and Meghan’s full departure from the royal family and Prince William’s shadowy role in it when he denied Harry himself for decide a half-in, half-out job to protect his (Williams) legacy/status.

Alternative narratives play an important role here.

Meghan was so heavily vilified and taunted (cartoons of Harry the Dirty Dog on a leash held by Meghan) for the couple’s withdrawal from royal duties that it was impossible to believe there could have been more to the story of their dumping in Sussex -Responsibilities.

This has now been revealed in the documentary series, which I will not reveal further here.

The way the narrative played out in the media and on Twitter and other social media in January 2020, there was no room for a different interpretation or even a slightly watered down version of the events. And it was hard not to believe.

Well, if the facts that got thrown across on Netflix last week Harry & Megan because her ‘Megxit’ (a term Harry loathes because ‘It was my choice. She never asked to leave… But it’s misogyny at its finest’) isn’t just another version we’re gulping down have to, we’ll never know.

But either way, it makes you embarrassingly realize that it’s very, very easy to be fooled into believing certain details are the truth because they are presented so plausibly in this new information age.

We can live in different realities that are impossible to tell apart to know which is the right one.

The manufacture of hate is the other concept that this documentary series brings out very clearly.

The animosity that was building towards Meghan as a result of the Sussexes’ decision to leave royal life was quite evident in the headlines of articles about her at the time and on social media.

On social media, the bitter polarization and violence of views continues to this day – ahead of the release of Harry & Megan.

But hardly anyone really noticed how hate slowly, bit by bit, grew into a creature with a mind and identity of its own, and that’s how internet-generated hate works these days.

The hatred escalated to death threats against Meghan and even her first child, Archie.

It’s hard not to be swayed when Meghan speaks through tears and confusion about encountering that hate and the deep fear that was beginning to take hold of her: “I’m a mother. You make people want to kill me? It’s not just a tabloid. It’s not just any story. You scare me… This is real. Are my babies safe? What did you create it for? Because you’re bored or because it sells your newspapers.’

The second half of the docu-series also relives the picture-perfect beauty of Harry-Meghan’s wedding, and while their love story gets a bit cloying at times, there’s a lot of sweetness about it.

Quite a few frames in the film have an obligatory touch of happy endings – like Harry’s Adam’s apple jiggling as he sees Meghan walking up the aisle on their wedding day in Windsor, glowing white or the shot of the following evening, the two of them swarming before a celebration fireworks rain.

There also appear to be efforts to correct a number of errors and correct any misperceptions that have emerged following the Sussexes’ exodus from Britain that may have shown they are anti-Prince Charles or the Queen, or are intent on Put down Prince Charles or the Queen.

Meghan speaks in various small excerpts about her respect and reverence for Charles and the Queen.

Some of her remarks reveal quirky little things about Charles, such as his blue ribbon music tastes.

As they structured their wedding ceremony, all they had to do was turn to him to find the right gospel choir or soprano for Meghan’s performance.

Episodes 5 and 6 detail their “escape” from Vancouver Island, Canada to Los Angeles and later to Montecito, California.

When Buckingham Palace announced it would no longer fund the Sussexes’ safety, the couple, who were surrounded on all sides by paparazzi on the Canadian island as COVID-19 and lockdowns approached and hate threats against Meghan mounted, felt very vulnerable .

Days before the borders closed, H&M fled to California with their dogs Pula and Guy, son Archie and Meghan’s mother Doria, where they regained some semblance of existence while Harry romped around the garden barefoot and playing backyard soccer games.

While “the land of milk and honey” is an odd place for a barefoot British prince to find sanctuary (much ironic that it’s a country that’s won its freedom from the English crown), it’s not surprising that California That Often Works An enlightened country all to itself, the couple finally find the peace and life they needed.

Harry & Megan notes the much, much deeper effect the death of his mother, Princess Diana, had on Harry.

Harry picks up Di’s story where it left off abruptly in a Paris underpass and continues her narration while receiving vengeance on her behalf through his own life and his fight against what he feels is inconsistent with the royal life- and way of being is in a devil of a bargain with paparazzi in constant pursuit.

Meghan happens to deliver the anchor he needs.

Towards the end of the Netflix series there is a sequence where Harry drives down an LA boulevard with the wind ruffling his hair, the sun setting behind it and a Xavier Rudd song playing: “Follow, follow the sun, And which way the.” wind blows… Dream carefully, tomorrow is a new day for everyone. Follow the sun, the direction of the birds, the direction of love…’

You keep looking at Diana and she lives on through her son and you understand Harry & Megan is just a continuation of Diana’s story.
