Google Pixel Watch is going through a teardown moment

Our Pixel Watch review is over and we’ve given you the top 10 things we think you should do with it if you’ve bought it. So at this point we kind of switch modes to find out what this watch can do in the long run if worn on the wrist for many months, as well as any other interesting information that will help tell its story over time.

Today, a new part of the Pixel Watch story comes from i fix it, which completely dismantled the first Google watch. Long story short, they found a fun glue holding it together, easy access to the innards, but added a bit more, saying it has a “strong first-generation tech vibe.” They also commented that the crown was not worth the price and I fully support that complaint.

In this video, you’ll see all the components of the Pixel Watch and how Google put together this first watch. There’s a small battery that takes up most of the space, a large speaker that seems to be glued to the frame, a health sensor, and non-replaceable buttons and a crown. Weird, i fix it says they like the way the straps connect to the watch – no thanks.

To see the full video, we have added it below. Anyway, this is the first look at the first generation product that we have been waiting for years. Enjoy.
