T Mobile launches 15-day trials of a money-back home internet service running on the carrier’s 5G network. For those trying to find an alternative to their current ISP, could this be something to look out for?

T-Mobile Home Internet has a lot of great features, such as no data limits, low $50/month cost (with automatic billing), super-easy setup and setup (should only take 15 minutes), and lots of promotional bonuses that T-Mobile includes for customers. For example, home internet customers are eligible for T-Mobile on Tuesdays, a 50% annual discount on YouTube TV (Magenta Max plan is also required), and more.

Of course, such promotions come in fine print. Luckily, the fine print of this challenge isn’t scary at all. Read below.

Cancel within 15 days from the date of activation of the “Home Internet” service. Limited time offer; subject to change. Appropriate new home internet line and timely return of gateway required. Reimbursement through a one-time credit account. Max. 1/account. May not be combined with some offers or discounts.

Seems pretty simple. If you do not wish to maintain service for 15 days, simply return the gateway hardware and a refund will be provided in the form of a one-time credit to your account.

You have nothing to lose if you’re curious about 5G home internet. I would even try it myself, but I’m a fan of gigabit fiber and it doesn’t give those speeds. T-Mobile says customers can expect download speeds between 33 and 182 Mbps.
