Ana de Armas she was asked if she was going to take over the wonder woman role of Peter Safran and James Gunn reimagining the DC Universe.

“Well, I feel like Gal Gadot did a great job,” De Armas said in the Wired Complete automatic maintenance. “I think she should keep doing that.”

Gal Gadot recently reprized her role as Diana Prince in Shazam! Fury of the gods. However, Gadot’s future in the role remains uncertain after the third installment of Patty Jenkins’ wonder woman was scrapped.

After learning that the threequel was not happening, Jenkins posted a statement saying, “I never left. I was open to considering whatever was asked of me. I understood that there was nothing I could do to advance anything at that time. DC is obviously buried in the changes they need to make, so I understand those decisions are tough right now.

Before the news that wonder woman 3 wasn’t happening, Gadot shared a post on social media showing her gratitude for being able to play the role.

“A few years ago it was announced that I was going to play Wonder Woman. I was so grateful to have the opportunity to play such an incredible and iconic character and more than anything I am grateful to you. Fans I can’t wait to share his next chapter with you,” Gadot tweeted.

For now, the future of Wonder Woman remains uncertain. Safran and Gunn are reinventing the DC Universe with a new Superman who will enter a new era When Superman: Legacy hits theaters in 2025.
