Film Courage: How many art classes did you take as an adult, be it music, film?

Sophia Cacciola, Director of Photography, Actress, Musician, Director: Unfortunately, I haven’t taken any art classes since high school. Maybe I should now you say I’m oh man should I go take more classes. None. I took guitar lessons with a local guy for five bucks a lesson in high school. So I have that in my head if I arrive in a city everything is fine and that’s exactly what I did. I moved from rural New York to Boston and I was like I’m in a city, now it’s gonna be great. I didn’t quite realize that no one cared what was going on in Boston. I wish I had known earlier that I needed to go to New York or Los Angeles, although it wouldn’t have made any difference because now I have a great job… (Watch the video interview on Youtube here).
