The slapper heard around the world is about to get his first full take of Chris Rockwho will finally talk about the infamous Oscars incident with Will Smith.

“Chris Rock: Selective Outrage” will air live on netflix at 10 p.m. ET on Saturdays from the Hippodrome Theater in Baltimore.

While the media discussed the attack on the Oscars until nausea and Will Smith tried to explain himself in different ways, Rock kept his opinions to himself. He shared short jokes during his performances, but didn’t speak at length about the moment.

He reportedly turned down overtures to host the Oscars and appear in a Super Bowl ad with Smith, and said he was keeping his thoughts on what happened in a big reveal.

So far, he’s worked on a few things that may or may not appear in the special.

At an arena show held in Charleston, South Carolina in January on a bill with Dave Chappelle, he gave one of his longest takes.

“The thing people want to know… does it hurt? Damn yeah it hurts. He played Muhammad Ali! I played Pookie (in ‘New Jack City’). Even in animated movies, I’m a zebra, he’s a shark. I got hit so hard I heard ‘Summertime’ ringing in my ears,” Rock joked. a source told the Wall Street Journal.

On the same show, Rock also opened up about the size difference between him and Smith.

“Will Smith is a great guy. I’m not,” Rock said. “Will Smith is shirtless in his movies. If you see me in a movie having open heart surgery, I’m going to wear a sweater.

Rock tried another prank during another show, the The New York Post reported.

“I’ve supported Will Smith all my life,” he recently told the audience during a theater performance. But Rock said he hated watching Smith’s latest film.

“The other day I watched ‘Emancipation’ just to see him get whipped.”

According to a Deadline report, Rock has already joked about their height difference at London’s O2 Arena with Dave Chappelle, “He played Ali! I can’t even play Floyd Mayweather. Ali was a heavyweight, Mayweather a light middleweight.

Rock also referred to Smith as “Suge Smith”, a reference to rap mogul Marion “Suge” Knight.

Smith’s attempts to reach out were rebuffed by Rock. “I reached out to Chris and the message that came back was that he’s not ready to talk, and when he is he will,” Smith said in a widely shared video on social media.

At the O2 Arena, Rock responded. “Fk your hostage video,” he said.
