In doing so, they’ve put an end to, by some measures, the longest-running and most crowded black market in the history of the dark web, with 19,000 seller accounts and more than 17 million customer accounts, according to BKA.

The demand for drugs is so large that other black market routes will quickly pop up. Ironically, the most effective way to crash illegal drug profits is to legalize drugs, following the alcohol model or the Portugal or Amsterdam models. The drug war is unwinnable and a colossal waste of taxpayer money and law enforcement resources.
