Fridays often turn into Verizon update day, and this Friday is no exception. There are at least a dozen different Samsung phones currently being updated, from the Galaxy S20 to the Note 20 to the latest Fold 4. If you have a Samsung phone on Big Red, there’s a good chance you’ll get the new software this weekend. .

The October security patch has been released for the Galaxy S20 FE, S21 FE, Note 20, Note 20 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Fold 2. Oddly enough, the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 lineup are apparently just moving into the September security patch.

Performance improvements are also being added to some of these devices, plus devices receiving the October patch should see a fix for the intermittent text messaging issue that has plagued a number of Verizon Samsung phones.

And finally, the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ are getting a big update to Android 4.1.1 with a taskbar, improved split screen, and more.
