Google fast couple A feature designed to quickly connect Bluetooth-enabled audio devices to smartphones is now heading to Wear OS. It seems just in time for the Pixel Watch, which is scheduled to launch later this year.

As Google describes in its June Google System Update, “Fast Pair on Wear OS allows previously paired headphones to be detected and paired with wearable devices.” It’s a welcome addition to the platform, and it probably won’t be exclusive to the Pixel Watch, meaning it should be available for all supported Wear OS devices in due course.

This fall should be a pretty exciting time for Google fans. We have the Pixel 7 line, Pixel Watch and Pixel Buds Pro. Good times.
