Mona Lisa and blood Moon hits theaters Friday just in time for spooky season.

The film features stars Kate Hudson as a single mother and Jun Jong Seo as an escapee from a mental institute with supernatural powers. The two team up to make a quick fortune, but everything falls apart when the cops close in on them.

Ed Skreinwho plays Fuzz, recently sat down for an exclusive with the uInterview founder Erik Meers to chat about her favorite moment working on set with the director Ana Lily Amirpour.

“Every moment with Ana Lily can only be described as psychedelic,” Skrein said. “I was tripping over his creativity all the time. I didn’t drink beer the whole time I was there. I was sober as a judge and I was black tripping over the vibes. She walks around with Benny the dog snapping at her heels with a ghetto blaster playing great house music, sometimes while we’re in the middle of the take. She’s just a ball of enthusiasm and creativity. It was kind of like Laurel and Hardy when we met…like Little and Big, just kind of picking each other up and trying things out. Even that line where Fuzz says, “Okay, I’ll see you in the sequel.” It wasn’t scripted. She came over on the last take and said, ‘Do you want to try saying that?’ I was like, ‘For real? You are crazy?’ She was like, ‘This will be fun!’ and I was like, ‘F–k yeah. It was fun as shit. I think we only did it in one take. It was simply magnificent.

Skrein also revealed what it was like working with her famous co-stars.

Craig [Robinson] is my guy. he added. “I shot in LA and met him. Our families get together and stuff. Little Eva [Whitten], the little guy… he was so in love and funny as hell, profession and truthful actor. The scene with him in the car where he’s nervous… I love that scene so much. I feel really blessed the past two years with projects I’ve been able to work on. This is my dream thing. If I saw this movie, I would say to myself ‘Damn, I want to do stuff like this. I want to work with people like her and I want to play characters like that and exist in the world like that. I’m really grateful.
