Vernon Davis says he wouldn’t be shocked if Tom Brady goes from hoisting the Lombardi Trophies to picking up the Oscars… telling TMZ Sports he was impressed by the role of the QB in “80 For Brady”.
The former 49ers tight end — who turned into a super-successful actor in his post-football life — told us in Arizona this week that Brady rightfully showed him something in the new movie.
In fact, Davis said Brady did such a “great job” in the movie about a group of women who traveled across the country to catch him in Super Bowl LI – he could imagine the 45-year-old becoming a real acting deal one day.
“I could see him having longevity,” said the 39-year-old, who recently worked with Morgan FREEMAN in the movie “Muti”.

“He knows discipline. He knows hard work. He knows what it takes to be good at anything. So with that he can only go up.”
But don’t get it twisted… Davis isn’t ready to land any acting awards on Brady’s mantle just yet – giving us a score for Brady’s “80 For Brady” performance that wasn’t exactly a 10/10 !
