Tom Holland will resume his Spider Man role within the wonder Cinematic Universe (MCU) and marvel studios chief Kevin Feige says they are already working on his return.
“All I will say is we have the story,” Feige said in an interview with Weekly entertainment. “We have big ideas for this, and our writers are just putting pen to paper now.”
Feige stopped short to reveal what the future holds for Spidey and whether that means a new solo movie or an appearance in one of the avengers movies. Holland last donned the Spider-Man costume in Spider-Man: No Coming Home which was a major box office success, grossing over $1.9 billion worldwide. The film saw the hero team up with former Spideys played by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
At the end of 2021, producer Amy Pascal teased that they were working on a new Spider Man trilogy with again Tom Holland.
“It’s not the last movie we’re going to do with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie,” Pascal said. fandango. “We’re gearing up to do the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We think of this as three movies, and now we’re going to move on to the next three. This isn’t the last of our MCU movies.
Avengers: Secret Wars is one of the films Marvel Studios is working on and is set for release on May 1, 2026. The 12-issue comic book saga was set in the mid-1980s and Spider-Man joins forces with other Avengers like Captain America, Hawkeye, Captain Marvel, Hulk, Iron Man and more.
