Jennifer Lopez currently running Ben Affleck’s next production “Unstoppable” and she was spotted on set in an outfit that is a clear nod to the early 2000s. The film centers on American wrestler Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg and won the national wrestling championship NCAA Individual in 2011. Deliberately reflecting the time period the film focuses on, Lopez’s look consisted of a sleeveless purple blouse tied at the waist with a plunging neckline and subtle embroidery; flared jeans with a distressed hem; and perfectly tailored accessories, like a braided rope bracelet and flip-flops. Her long brown hair was swept to the side and brushed with highlights, and most notably, she displayed a fake arm tattoo that is reminiscent Affleck’s own collection (coincidentally, the married couple recently got matching infinity tattoos in real life).
While we could easily imagine Lopez’s suit on Marissa Cooper from “The OC,” the 53-year-old actress pulls it off easily — especially given her natural penchant for tapping into nostalgic trends, such as Low waist jeans, skortsAnd ripped sweatpants. It’s likely that Lopez had an influence on her character’s wardrobe choice for “Unstoppable,” especially since Affleck credits his wife with great input into his scripts. “She knows incredibly well how fashion evolves through culture as a confluence of music, sport, entertainment and dance,” he said. The Hollywood Reporter in March, with reference to his film “Air”. Also Lopez credits Affleck with her fashion tips on the red carpet, so it looks like the topic of clothing — both on and off screen — is certainly meaningful to the duo, who recently wore matching outfits while out for a walk in Santa Monica, California.
