The Pixel Fold is expensive, there’s no getting around it. As with Samsung’s Galaxy Fold series, it costs a lot of money to make a large foldable device that can be used from both a phone and a tablet, which in turn means a lot of money to purchase. Now, when I say “$1,000 off” or “$700 off”, we’re talking about a big discount spread over 24 months as credit on your account. It’s like all Verizon or AT&T deals, but instead of locking you out for 3 years, it’s 2. It’s closer to T-Mobile discount style.
