November is only about a week away, but Apple hasn’t finished October yet. Before we even consider the rumors, Apple has a very busy week planned, including the launch of the 10th Gen iPad, iPadOS, 16.1 and macOS Ventura with the highly anticipated Stage Manager feature.
And then there are products that are still coming. We all know that Apple doesn’t like to reveal any secrets before the big day, but it’s possible that Apple has another batch of products ready for release next week. Here’s what we know, expect and hope as Apple closes the month:
iOS 16.1 and macOS Ventura will be released on Monday: Before the new iPads go on sale, there must be software that will work on them. Both iOS/iPadOS 16.1 and macOS Ventura will release on Monday, October 24th, as Apple announced this week.
New Macs could arrive on Tuesday: Rumor has it that there are still a few Macs getting updates this fall: the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro and the Mac mini with M2 processors. So even though iPads were released this week, don’t be surprised if new Macs arrive in just over a week.
Two Apple executives are scheduled to speak on October 25: And there’s one more thing to suggest that the last week of October is going to be monstrous for Apple. Apple Senior Vice Presidents Craig Federighi and Greg Joswiak speak at WSJ Tech Live The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday, October 25, in a session titled “Products, Privacy, and Power at Apple.” It’s unlikely that Apple will unveil any of the remaining products during the half-hour session, but we’ll be listening to what they have to say.
There will be no event…right? After a flurry of releases this week that saw the introduction of the 10th generation iPad, Apple TV 4K, and iPad Pro M2, it’s almost certain that Apple won’t host another event in 2022. But if it takes place, the invitations will probably be sent out. out on Wednesday.
iPads will go on sale on Friday: After a very quiet month this week, Apple has made a lot of noise with the release of the iPad Pro M2 and a redesign of the 10th generation iPad, which will go on sale on Friday, October 26th. The new Apple TV 4K will not hit stores. until next Friday, November 4th.
