Apple opened pre-orders for its latest M2 MacBook Pro laptop on Friday, June 17th. The laptop starts at $1,299 with memory and storage options that push the price up to $2,499. You can order a MacBook from Apple or Best Buy.
The 13-inch MacBook Pro is Apple’s first laptop to feature the next generation M2 processor with 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU. Apple hasn’t changed anything else about the laptop, so it has the same design as before, with a 13.3-inch True Tone display, two Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports, and a touchpad.
The updated MacBook Air will also feature the M2 processor when it launches next month. This laptop has an all-new design with a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display, thin bezels and MagSafe and is priced at $1,199.
The base model MacBook Pro will ship by June 24th, but we expect stock to drop as the day progresses. Other configurations with more RAM and disk space are being moved to July and August, depending on the options.
