“Shazam! Fury of the Gods” sees Levi return as the titular superhero character who Billy Batson (played by Asher Angel) transforms by saying “Shazam!” Following the success of the 2019 release, the latest film sees Billy and his adoptive child friends reconcile with their superhero alter egos, until a trio of ancient gods return to Earth to take their powers away. . In this episode, Billy is 17, so Levi is channeling his inner teenager into the role, but that’s not an age he’d like to return to IRL. “The idea of going back to that angst, that lack of understanding of who you are,” he says. “All the drama, all the nonsense, I wouldn’t touch that with a 10ft pole.”
