Oreo has teamed up with Farhan Akhtar and state-of-the-art AI text and voice engines to help you overcome your witty blues and turn speechless situations into playful ones.

The brand has introduced special edition packs containing cookies embossed with the letters of the English alphabet. Each pack also comes with a QR code which, once scanned, will redirect the consumer to a microsite www.sayitwithoreo.in where users can share the embarrassing situation they find themselves in and receive a personalized audio message with a fun and playful response designed by Farhan Akhtar (aka Artificial Intelligence in the back end).

Conceptualized by Leo Burnett India, this campaign uses generative artificial intelligence to generate playful responses which are then fed to a voice-cloning AI engine that reads that response in Farhan Akhtar’s voice. Farhan Akhtar, known for his puns and wit, was a natural fit for the campaign as he truly embodies the playful spirit that the brand also carries, the press release said.

The campaign began with an ad for “Voice of Oreo” which Farhan Akhtar responded to, followed by a pitch from an Oreo representative which was captured in film form and released on digital media. This was followed by the launch of 6 shorties that demonstrate the power of the “Say It With Oreo” platform. The campaign will also see contextual placements and integrations of content across digital platforms and in-store activations.
