The final countdown to 2022 is almost underway and Samsung is rolling out the latest wave of updates. This week, the beneficiaries will be owners of Galaxy S10 series phones that are nearing the end of receiving updates. The Galaxy Fold 4 and Flip 4 are also getting the new update.

The Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10 5G via Verizon are getting the same update, the December Android security patch. As they are on a quarterly update schedule pending the end of their support next year, we will accept any updates we can get. There are no performance improvements or new camera features here, only security.

As for the Galaxy Fold 4 and Flip 4, they too see the December patch and that’s it. They both received Android 13 in recent weeks, so we didn’t expect anything else.
