Apple has the best TV streaming box. It’s faster and more responsive, supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, runs all streaming apps, and has full access to buy TV shows and movies from the Apple Store, and of course, it works seamlessly with your iPhone and Apple cloud services. With the latest Apple TV 4K hardware, the problematic remote has even been redesigned, and now it’s really good!
The only problem is that it costs twice as much as all of its competitors. That’s why it’s always a good idea to keep an eye on sales and special offers. With the Amazon Prime Day sale taking place June 12-13, it’s the perfect time to grab an Apple TV 4K for a much more reasonable price. You may not even have to wait until then, as there are already sales.
One caveat: we don’t recommend the Apple TV HD at any price, even if you don’t already have a 4K TV. It’s old hardware (A8 circa 2014!), HDMI 1.4, no HDR support, no Dolby Atmos support… it’s just very old technology that Apple shouldn’t be selling anymore.

Prime Day 2022: How can I get the best Apple TV deals?
While the above deals are ongoing, Prime Day officially begins on July 12 at 12:00 PM PT (3:00 AM EST) in the following countries: Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, UK and USA. We don’t know for sure if Prime Day sales will be any better than they are now, so if you’re happy with the prices here, you should grab a pair.
The sales above are open to all customers, but Prime members get free two-day shipping. Once Prime Day starts, most of the deals will be exclusive to Prime members, so you will need to be logged in with an active membership to purchase one of the deals. Prime membership costs $139 / £79 / AU$59 per year or $14.99 / £7.99 / AU$6.99 per month. New users can sign up for a 30-day free trial, which can be canceled at any time during the trial period.
