Sony will give PlayStation fans an hour-long preview of what’s to come for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR 2 on Wednesday in a new PlayStation Showcase. The PlayStation maker promises a preview of “several new creations from PlayStation Studios,” as well as games from third parties and independent developers.

PlayStation Studios includes veteran developers like Insomniac Games, Naughty Dog, Media Molecule and Sucker Punch Productions, as well as new additions to Sony’s stable like Haven Studios and Firewalk Studios. This means that we could take a look at Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 And Marvel’s Wolverines by Insomniac, Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us multiplayer gamethe guerrilla Multiplayer Horizon game, and many other projects of which we are not yet aware. Sony said last year that it plans to launch more than 10 live games by 2026, and Wednesday’s showcase may offer more information on that plan.

Since this is a PlayStation showcase – as opposed to a smaller State of Play live stream – expect Sony to offer an E3 size range.
