JE Technology Office: Motorola is all dressed up to launch the Moto G14 smartphone in India. The smartphone appeared on a microsite on the Flipkart e-commerce platform in two color options: Gray and Blue. In the images, the smartphone is visible with a perforated screen and two cameras on the back with a flash.

According to the company, it has a “premium and colorful design”. The device will appeal to budget smartphone shoppers looking for a low-cost yet quality offering from Motorola. For more information, here’s what we know about the smartphone so far.

Moto G14 Specifications

The phone has a 6.5-inch FHD+ display on the front. For immersive multimedia consumption, it has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. Under the hood, the phone features a UNISOC T616 processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via the microSD card slot. While the phone will run on Android 13, the company has promised assured Android 14 updates and security patches for up to three years.

As for the battery, the IP-52 rated device will have a 5000mAh cell with 20W TurboPower charging will be there on the phone. Motorola claims it can survive up to 16 hours of video playback. A 50 MP main camera will be installed on the back of the phone. Camera UI features include Macro Vision and Night Vision. For connectivity, it will have a triple card slot. A side fingerprint reader and facial recognition will be present on the handset.

Moto G14 Price in India and Availability (Expectations)

Pre-bookings for the device will go live on August 1 at 12:00 p.m. on Flipkart. Although we don’t know the exact price of the phone at the moment, given the budget appeal of the handset, the price is expected to be in the sub-Rs 10,000-12,000 segment.
