Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters next week, and early reactions from critics who attended the premiere indicate we’re looking at a great MCU Phase 5 opener. Not only that, but Quantumania delivered on Multiverse Saga big badKang by Jonathan Majors, who steals every scene he’s in. With all that in mind, we’re not surprised that Marvel already has preliminary discussions about Ant Man 4 even before the box office success of Quantumania is decided.

Marvel has already confirmed that they are considering a Ant Man 4 adventure, though we may be years away from the studio’s green light. But it’s very revealing Quantumania spoiler right there. Before I can explain to you, we warn you that more MCU spoilers may follow.

We didn’t know when we saw The ant Man in theaters in 2015 just how vital this Avenger would be in the MCU. In End of GameScott Lang (Paul Rudd) hurt the Avengers’ victory over Thanos (Josh Brolin).

NOW Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania raises the stakes to a level never seen in previous films, setting the stage for the future avengers movies, especially Kang Dynasty. Ant-Man, the Wasp and their family must face an Avengers-level enemy without having other Avengers on their side.

It was the film’s first pitch, with Ant-Man stuck in an Avengers adventure on his own. And seeing him and the Wasp face a Thanos-level threat on their own should be incredibly exciting.

What would be Ant Man 4 have to offer?

Marvel’s Stephen Broussard confirmed comics that Marvel is already considering the prospect of making a Ant Man 4.

“We’re already thinking about it,” Broussard revealed. “It’s like every movie is its own battle and you carry the scars of making it and wanting to make it great. But the hope is eternal and you start to get back on your feet after the journey of making the movie. You are like, ‘Yeah, what if we did X and what if we did Y?’ As if the wheels start turning, you can’t help it.

“I don’t want to say anything about what it is specifically, but yeah, you can’t help it,” he added. “These conversations, these whispers have already started happening between me and Peyton [Reed] and Kevin [Feige].”

The major spoiler here is that Ant-Man will not die in Quantumania, which some fans may have feared. Sure, Kang is an incredible opponent, and Scott could be beaten in the movie. But we’re not about to witness the death of another Avenger just yet. The same probably goes for the Wasp and Cassie (Kathryn Newton).

But given the high stakes of Quantumaniawho sets up Kang Dynasty And Secret Warsit will be interesting to see what a Ant Man 4 would attack. It’s unusual to see fourth episodes in such stories, but Marvel is definitely ready to make them.

Thor (Chris Hemsworth) had his fourth adventure in love and thunder. And while Captain America 4 is not a Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) movie, it continues the story of the Cap symbol, with Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) taking the shield. So there is THE Spiderman 4 soft restart starring the same Tom Holland that Sony and Marvel are expected to announce soon.

And let’s not forget that avengers reached the fourth episode a long time ago. It was End of GameOf course. avengers 5 And avengers 6 are the films that will conclude the Multiverse Saga: Kang Dynasty And Secret Warsrespectively.
