London Files is a captivating thriller with an excellent performance by Arjun Rampal, notes Namrata Thakker.

When the daughter of a media mogul goes missing in London, a homicide detective is assigned to the case.

Amar Roy (Purab Kohli) is a major media magnate who supports the anti-immigration law passed by the British government.

Because of this bill, London is in chaos, protests are everywhere.

When Roy’s daughter Maya (Medha Rana) goes missing, homicide detective Om Singh (Arjun Rampal) steps in.

As Om digs deeper into the case, he discovers there’s more to the story than meets the eye.

Also, oddly enough, the case has a connection to his past.

He believes that a cult group is behind the London chaos, including Maya’s disappearance.

From the very first episode directed by Sachin Pathak London Files pretty exciting. The creators immediately get down to business.

Om Singh seems uptight but ready to solve a high-profile case. We get to know him more as his personal tragedy unfolds throughout the series.

Arjun Rampal as Om Singh is to be commended, but the rest of the cast is hardly impressive.

Actors like Purab Kohli and Sapna Pabbi could add a lot more to the show, but their roles don’t reflect their talent.

The show also features Gopal Dutt, a brilliant actor who could have been amazing if his role wasn’t so badly written.

Only six episodes of half an hour each, and this plays into the hands of the thriller.

The storyline is taut, with a few unexpected twists and turns in each episode.

It can get a little boring between them, but it’s not too distracting.

General, London Files Worth watching for two reasons: the captivating storyline and Arjun Rampal’s acting.

London Files is streaming on VOOT.
