Leica is set to discontinue Cine 1 in 2023. It’s a revolutionary, ultra-bright 4K projector that can shoot 80-inch and 100-inch images.

Cine 1 will deliver a Laser TV ambiance even when positioned inches from the wall, thanks to Leica’s unique triple RGB laser technology combined with a Summicron aspherical lens. Not only does it bring great quality videos, but viewers will also get amazing sound thanks to Dolby Atmos surround sound.

For connectivity, it incorporates WiFi and Bluetooth technologies, HDMI, screen mirroring and USB inputs. It also has a TV tuner and a Smart TV interface.

“With the Cine 1”, says Matthias Harsch, CEO of Leica Camera AG, “consumers can experience cinematic enjoyment from the comfort of their own home at the highest audiovisual level – the cinema comes home”.

The Leica Cine 1 drops to the European market in Q2 2023. Stay tuned for pricing to be revealed in the coming weeks.
