In his very first Halloween special, Metal and monsters host Count D (Rob Zombie’s band), sits down for an in-depth interview with Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett to discuss monsters, metal and horror memories. Featuring photos from the movies that helped shape Kirk’s love of horror, Kirk and Count D talk about their love of movies, including The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Exorcistand Nosferatus. You can watch the episode below as Kirk talks about making music in Metallichis new solo album Portalsand its 10 best horror bands of all time.

All Metal and monsters The show features the following segments and interactive opportunities for horror and metal fans tuning in worldwide. The show takes the monster team on the ultimate behind-the-scenes excursion to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood, California. Count D visits HHN Creative Director and Executive Producer John Murdy and learns the process of designing and building the Halloween Horror Nights mazes. John talks about collaborations with Slash, Alice Cooperand Ozzy Osbourne, and takes the crew through the Universal Monsters and Killer Klowns from Outer Space labyrinths.

Also, in “Tunes From The Crypt”, Host Count D revisits Type O Negative’s seminal album October Rust and gives fans a chance to win exclusive band prizes and more.

Then, in “Exhumed from The Tomb”, Count D sits down with the band’s Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante Anthrax to explore the group’s 40-year history in this historic segment.
