Latest World News: Imran Khan’s corruption, bad governance causes economy

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Imran Khan destroyed the system for his political gains.
Islamabad:
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s corruption and poor governance are the real cause of economic malaise in the country, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said, ARY News reported on Sunday.
Prime Minister Sharif further said that his party came to power as Pakistan was in the midst of many crises.
Sharif criticized the Pakistani leader of Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying that Khan destroyed the system for his political gains and that IMF conditions were violated because of the no-confidence motion. The PTI president has destabilized relations with key allies and friendly countries, he added.
The prime minister said everyone questioned them about why they came to power as the country’s economy was ruined by the PTI government, ARY News reported.
Commenting on the May 9 incidents, Prime Minister Shehbaz said the attacks had been staged and planned for over a year and constituted an evil attempt and plot to foment a military coup and a plot against Pakistan inside Pakistan.
He maintained that the May 9 incidents were heartening for the families of the martyrs and that the incidents had been planned for a year and a half, but it exposed the PTI President to the nation.
Earlier on Sunday, the prime minister called on the public to avenge the rigging of the 2018 general election through his tenure in the upcoming general election by defeating the political charades of the PTI, Pakistan-based ARY News reported.
Sharif made the statement at a ceremony after laying the foundation stone for development projects including the Faisalabad Satyana Bypass connecting Highway 3.
He said Pakistan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Imran Khan and his clique came to power in the 2018 rigged election, ARY News reported.
The Pakistani Prime Minister has said that the people of Faisalabad will defeat the PTI in the general election by backing the Pakistani Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidates. He said that during the tenure of the PTI, not a single brick was laid on the projects initiated by the PML-N government, according to ARY News.
He said the PTI, instead, was engaged in a barrage of baseless and clumsy allegations against opposition leaders. He claimed that Imran Khan had been appointed Prime Minister of Pakistan by “rigged polls, with RTS malfunctioning and the PML-N being stripped of its seats”.
