The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro could be on the horizon, so buying an old Pixel might seem like a strange idea. But look, this is always the case in smartphones. There is always something new right around the corner. For those who don’t mind an older phone and are on a budget, I have a Pixel 6 offer today.
wut works Leave this week and the Pixel 6 is part of the sale. The brand new Pixel 6 in Stormy Black is $349.99. That’s basically the price of the Pixel 6a, and it’s definitely an upgrade over the Pixel 6a.
While it’s only available in black, it’s a brand new phone that’s fully unlocked and ready to go with any carrier. Don’t worry about it at Verizon, T-Mobile or AT&T.
As a reminder, since this phone has been around for over a year, the Pixel 6 features a 6.4-inch 90Hz OLED display, 128GB of storage, 8GB of RAM, a 4600mAh battery, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and was the first. to showcase Google’s new 50MP main camera sensor. We were big fans of the regular Pixel 6 (our reviewer) when it first came out, mostly because of its size and flat display.
The phone definitely wasn’t (was it?) problem-free. Google still struggles (even on the Pixel 7 line) to connect properly all the time, and the original Tensor chip in the device isn’t really the high-performance chip you might find in the older Galaxy S22. However, the Pixel 6 will still get updates for a few more years, so there’s always time for Google to keep improving things.
At $349, that’s $150 less than the original price. Not bad.
