No one had as much fun on the red carpet this week as Evangeline Lilly – and if you need more proof, just look at her dress.
THE marvel actress hit the red carpet at the UK gala screening for his latest film, ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’, in London on Thursday night, immediately catching attention in a sweep Naeem Khan dress. Part of the designer’s Spring 2021 ready-to-wear collection, her ankle-length piece featured a light gray sleeveless base. Layers of sparkling sequins and beaded fringe finished the piece, making the case for both all-over sparkle and long-lasting occasion wear.

The dramatic piece was accented by stylist Kevin Michael Ericson with equally sparkly (and fringed) diamond earrings and dainty rings. The jewelry was also accentuated by Lilly’s now-viral DIY shaved haircut, which she revealed in December was simply due to preventing bleach damage while filming another film, the upcoming thriller “South of Heaven”.

As for footwear, Lilly also hit the wind subtly with a pair of mirrored pumps. Its shiny silver style featured shiny point-toe uppers atop angled, arched platform soles with matching ankle straps. Thin block heels totaling at least 5 inches tall completed the pair with a dizzying boost, complementing her dress while creating a head-to-toe statement.

Lilly’s shoe style is often sharp and whimsical. The ‘Lost’ star often wears metallic and embellished pumps and sandals on the red carpet from top brands like Stuart Weitzman. Off duty, his style is decidedly more comfortable, with flat boots, chunky clogs, and lace-up sneakers.
However, Lilly is no stranger to stylish footwear, making waves in 2018 while promoting “Ant-Man and the Wasp” and revealing her pain of wearing high heels.
“I’ve been hearing male Marvel superheroes complain about their costumes for years, and I got into my costume and wore it, worked in it, did my thing, and I was like.'[It’s] not so bad.’ Do I have the most comfortable suit in the MCU, or don’t men have the life experience of being uncomfortable to look good? she said BackstageOL, holding out her shoe to the camera. “They’re just like, ‘What is this? This sucks. Why are we…why? Why do I have to go through this?’ Whereas a woman is like, ‘I don’t know. It’s normal. I wear heels to work. I’m uncomfortable all day. You get used to it. You turn it off.'”
