After Chris Hemsworth, another Hollywood Chris explained that his tenure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe may soon be coming to an end. Chris Pratt played Peter Quill aka Star Lord in the mcu, having appeared in both Guardians of the Galaxy movies outside of two Avengers titles. However, in a recent interview, Chris said that while he might not want to, his role could end soon. Read also : Chris Hemsworth Hints He Could Be Made As Thor In The Marvel Cinematic Universe

Chris will appear as a Star Lord in at least two upcoming films. He and the rest of the Guardians will feature in Thor: Love and Thunder, which comes out this Thursday. Following this, he will be seen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which comes out in May 2023. But beyond that, the character wonder the future is uncertain.

Speaking to Men’s Health recently, Chris said: ‘(I) don’t really know what’s next. You asked whether or not I was consciously, intentionally turning a page. The page turns. Whether I like it or not. Because the franchises are over.”

The actor gave an example of American football player Russell Wilson, who recently quit Chris’ favorite team and said the times when something ended hit him harder than usual. He said: “You want to be aware and put in a lot of effort to live in the moment. Like, it’s going away. I want to integrate it. You can’t integrate it any harder than simply being present in it. I am therefore present. The other day, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was traded to Denver. He’s been in Seattle for about ten years. Which was about the length of that (his time with the Guardians). I was like, ‘Wait, wait, what happened?’ The emotion of the last ten years is coming to an end. I was in the most embarrassing way, like, ‘My quarterback is leaving, so I’m going to cry.’ It hits me at times like this.”

Previously, Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor in the MCU, also hinted that Love and Thunder could be his last film. Marvel Studios has steadily introduced newer and younger heroes to take over the franchise over the past few years, and many insiders felt that meant older, more established stars could be phased out.
