The Yami Gautam-Sunny Kaushal lead has enough twists and turns to keep you hooked, observes Namrata Thakker.

Ankit Sethi (Sunny Kaushal) is a businessman who deals in diamonds. Neha Grover (Yami Gautam) is a stewardess who falls in love with him.

But the way their love story unfolds isn’t interesting, and neither is their on-screen chemistry.

Anyway, Ankit and Neha’s love life hits a rough patch when he gets embroiled in a money affair involving badass thugs.

Ankit tries to deal with the situation but fails. When there is no other option, Neha agrees to steal diamonds to pay off Ankit’s debt.

Ankit and Neha decide to carry out their plan in the air while flying from Al-Barkat to Delhi. But things go wrong when their flight is hijacked by terrorists.

Will Ankit and Neha succeed in their diamond robbery? Or will the kidnapping ruin their plans?

You have to watch the movie to find out.

And yes, it’s definitely worth a watch.

Directed by Ajay Singh, the thriller begins with a romantic angle on a shaky note, but the story picks up speed once the plane is hijacked.

The first half seems a bit rushed with some unnecessary drama and loopholes, but in the second half the story – and the actors – shine through.

Once the hijacked plane lands at Kullu Airport, the creators start throwing in twists and turns at full speed and that’s what makes it stand out Choir Nikal Ke Bhaga captivating.

Along with the story, the main characters shift into fourth gear, and it’s a treat to watch Yami and Sunny play their respective roles with malice.

The film stars Sharad Kelkar and Indraneil Sengupta in key roles and they’re pretty decent in their limited screen time.

Choir Nikal Ke Bhaga could have been a great thriller if the story was crisper and better written.

Other than that, the film is mostly entertaining. This is supported by the fact that its runtime is almost two hours.

Kudos to Yami Gautam for one good performance after another on the OTT platform.

Sunny has been consistent with his acting, but he needs to try something unconventional.

Give Choir Nikal Ke Bhaga a watch and you will not be bored.
