In that same report, THR revealed that Vanessa Fisk, wife of Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin, will be recast. Ayelet Zurer will not be returning to the role she originally had in the three-season Netflix show; instead, Sandrine Holt (who was sent back to December 2022) will play Vanessa. Holt is best known as Oksana in The extent by SyFy (later Prime Video), and most recently appeared in AMC’s You better call Saul. For now, this marks the first official overhaul of Netflix’s jump from the MCU. And according to the schedule of others ex-Marvel actorschances are it won’t be the last.
Starring fellow MCU Netflix alum Jon Bernthal and newcomers Michael Gandolfini, Nikki M. James, and Margarita Levieva, Daredevil: Born Again will arrive on Disney+ in 2024.
