Woody Harrelson urges Hollywood to get rid of Covid protocols which it calls “nonsense” and “absurd”.

In an interview with New York Times Review to talk about his new movie ChampionsHarrelson said he loves doing independent films but was unsure about on-set assignments.

“Now to do an indie? Especially with all the Covid protocols – which to me are pretty absurd. I don’t know what’s going to happen,” he said.

The reporter asked the real detective alum why he thought the protocols were nonsense with the actor adding, “The fact that they keep going! I don’t think anyone should have the right to demand that you have to take the tests, wear the mask and get vaccinated three years later. I’m just like, let’s get this nonsense over with.

Harrelson said he’s more concerned about the crew working on film sets because he’s able to pull out assignments.

“It’s not fair to the crews,” he continued. “I don’t need to wear the mask. Why should they? Why should they be vaccinated? How does it not depend on the individual? I shouldn’t talk about this [expletive]. Makes me angry for the crew. The anarchist part of me, I don’t think we should have forced testing, forced masks, and forced vaccinations. It is not a free country.

Harrelson reiterated, “Really, I’m talking about the crew. Because I can avoid wearing a mask. I can test less. I’m not in the same position as them, but that’s wrong. It’s three years. Stop.”

The actor ended by saying that “as an anarchist, I don’t do well with warrants.”

Harrelson’s comments come as he made a controversial appearance on saturday night live where he made anti-vax remarks that divided viewers.
