By Shibimol KG: Three people have been arrested and taken into custody in Kerala’s Kasaragod over a moral police incident. The accused allegedly harassed people for traveling together, police said on Monday.
Police said a group of six including three men and three women had walked out after attending a party on Sunday. A couple in the group had thrown a party for their friends to celebrate their engagement. Returning from the party, the group had stopped in a tea room.

Four of them entered the store while two of them, a man and a woman, remained in the car. A local who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol approached the two and asked why they were sitting alone inside the car. He was accompanied by his two friends.
They started creating a ruckus over the issue. Hearing them, the four friends inside also rushed over. A woman was injured in the rowdiness that ensued between the two groups.
A case was filed against the accused based on a complaint from the woman who was injured. An FIR was filed against the accused under Section 354 (indecent exposure of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code.
